Clinical Psychotherapy

Harry G. Neff, M.Ed., LMHC, has been a clinical mental health therapist since 2007, and is passionate about our ability to grow our sense of security that helps us to thrive in our lives. He has extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, and Attachment Theory along with a number of other approaches such as EFT and IFS.
Harry works collaboratively to help you not just get unstuck, but to thrive. He has been inspired and guided by attachment theory which for example, researcher Daniel Siegel talks about how a child is born into the world hardwired to experience security. We are born into the world ready to feel delighted in, empowered, protected, connected and nurtured, but when we don’t get that, it is deeply painful and understandably creates protective patterns that end up being unhelpful in adulthood.
The good news is that even if you are like most people out there who have some unhelpful patterns, it is never too late to change. You can have what is called “earned security” through connecting to the security you are meant for, where you can feel and be all of who you are; the joy and the pain.
“The cure for pain, is in the pain.” -Rumi
